Quality Control

Cables & Wire

All cable and wire used meets industry standards per SAE-J-1128. We retain a strong and active relationship with a wire distributor to have access to a large supply of wire gauges and colors including striping, to ensure each wire's purpose is clearly indicated. Swiss made measure/strip/cut machines aid in controlling the manufacturing process to increase quality, and productivity through providing exact wire lengths, and terminal slug and crimp validation per manufacture requirements. Each wire is crimped to all automotive manufacturer specifications, which includes cable seals, using terminal applicators that are calibrated and certified to the manufacturer data sheets. AHC is RoHS compliant and entirely lead free for wire assembly using Sono-bond ultrasonic welding equipment, guaranteeing each wire connection is to standard. Each assembled wire receives heat shrink to ensure the connection is insulated.

Prototpying

AHC has developed a reputation for its ability to prototype harnesses, working hand in hand with other distributors and companies to realize various products. We help engineer and design the physical harness, the associated manufacturing process, and can create drawings for necessary assemblies if requested.

Harnesses & Testing

Harnesses are completed to customer specifications and tested using low voltage testing equipment to verify it meets the requested build. Each harness manufactured gets tested and delivered with a testing report to ensure that assembly was manufactured to the customed design. AHC provides various methods for harness management during the assembly including automotive grade tape, heat shrink, various grades of loom, and loom breakout components. Epoxy resin potting can also be used upon request to increase the durability of the wire connections and provide a seal to the connector/pcb/component.

Repair

We understand that in the industry, repairs are necessary, and we work with our clients to provide exceptional repair service for not only our own harnesses, but any harness that may need repair. We will work with our clients so that they can send any harness to us, and we can ensure a cost effective, and fast resolution. Any cost associated to a harness that is defective due to a manufacturing error, is never the responsibility of the client. All repaired harnesses are always tested and delivered with a new testing report to ensure that the repair was completed successfully.

Automotive Components

AHC also has experience manufacturing automotive assemblies that require PCB's and other electrical components, in which require tin-based solder joints. We have an advanced method of manufacturing to ensure quality solder joints, that can also be tested to ensure the PCB works as intended post-weld.
